We think the reason for the rise of blog is that it can provide human voice and perspectives than other media form. Blog provide space for individuals to express their opinions and point of view freely, which is not under the control of censorship. Blog is human, it helps to express the emotions of human and is completely opposite from the mass information. Therefore, more and more people engage in this activity and seek for difference from the mass information. Besides, individuals can find people with similar interest or viewpoints by browsing their blogs. As a result, blog is multifunctional, it is a platform to unite people with same ideas and filter the information and provides different perspectives to the public as well. Hence, blog is getting more and more popular and widely spread.
