The topic we are going to present is "Playing Game". Our focus reading would be "As We become machine: Corporealized Pleasure in Video Games"
However the boundaries between the games and players are erased in terms of increasing the tactile involvements. By using the examples, we can easily point out that the strong interconnection between human and technology in which our body sensory is going to be much actual and realistic from the video games. it is no longer limited into a visual aspects. At last, the cyborgian relationship can be fully developed while human are melding with the technology.

Online and video games become the addicted activities for many people nowadays. they are not only youngsters, but children, parents or even elderly. Since it is a tool to communicate with the youngsters, and for fun, of course. When i saw the presentation in class, i found that the playing of games really affects many of my school mates, most of them, i can say all of them have experience in playing games and they are really enjoy it. Yet, I'm totally outside the circle, as I do not play any of the games, no matter the online or video or those machines that we could bring out on the street. I just think it's quite silly to play games in front of the dead object (monitor) and all those emotions were shown on your face while others would feel funny for your facial expression. Besides, i think people nowadays are too addicted in playing games and it is not a healthy activity so I would continue keep myself out of the circle.
There are so many people who like to play online game or video game nowadays. Through the development of technology, there is different kind of video games released, such as PS III, WII, NDS and PSP. They have different selling points. They also input many new elements on it. Many people are addicted on playing these four mainstream games.
I agree that our body sensory is going to be much actual and realistic from the video games. It is because we can use Wii as the example. When we play ‘cooking mama’, it involved many cooking skills such as cut, we need to have the real action to play the game.
Finally, I think your group discussion part is interesting, because many people have the experiences on playing game.
In my point of view, the technology of video game is developed in a rapid way. For example in ten more years ago, many people are going to play the video game on Game Boy or Super Nintendo, the quality of picture is not professional that we can only play the game in our leisure time. However, nowadays, their function have the great change that we can use PlayStation 3 to see the DVD, play the music and even the Xbox 360 and PS3 have the function that allow us go to the internet. It is difficult to imagine how the great change of the video game is in the future. Indeed, the improvement of the video game development provide us more chance to enjoy the interesting and reality feelings that bring from the “virtual world”.
As a active video game player, I agree that the boundary in between the real world and fantasy is indistinct. The relationship set in the game may affected real life especially when we are talking about online game communities, the avatar is of course just made by pixels unless there are human beings involved in controlling. Hence, the communication really exist and the relationship build up through the game are not limited on the online world, but reality if the user decided to met the other player outdoors. Moreover, online behavior do affected social life when some cased shown me that somebody would consider online game items as their 'real' property, criminals who tried to steal or cheat their things will be send to the police office as both the victim (item owner) and online game producer consider this kind of behavior as a 'real life' crime. As long as I did not been the victim or criminal, I do sometime mixed fantasy culture and slang in real life events.
After the presentation of topic about “ Playing Game” in your group can actual raise some interesting points in there. In nowadays, it is no doubt that there are more and more video games can be attracting to amount of players due to the quality of those games. As I saw the example about Wll that is create to promote for all kind of people. And it is try to eliminate the distance between real and virtual world for the players. So, I think that people are being more difficult to separate themselves with the virtual world indeed. Actually, there are many people will be addicted cause of the sense of reality in virtual world. Therefore, it is important for people to aware of those popular video games, which can bring lots of side effect for them.
